CME Accreditation
European Urology - Accredited Continuing Medical Education
The European Urology - Accredited Continuing Medical Education (EU-ACME) programme is the initiative resulting from a close collaboration between the European Board of Urology (EBU) and the European Association of Urology (EAU).
The EU-ACME office is a service institution with as its main tasks the implementation, promotion and organization of Continuing Medical Education (CME) for European Urologists. Urologists have access to an online system - in compliance with EBU/UEMS regulations 1 hour = 1 credit - which helps them to keep track of their educational activities, irrespective of the country they practice in or where they have participated in CME accredited activities.
So far the national urological societies from: Austria, The Netherlands, Estonia, Finland, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey as well as the international urological societies as European Association of Urology, European Society of Paediatric Urology and International Continence Society have already joined the programme.
For more information, please contact the EU-ACME office (eu-acme@uroweb.org) or visit the website: www.eu-acme.org.
Accreditation of the 23rd EAU congress
Many countries within Europe have a national CME accreditation system. The EAU has requested all European National Urological Societies to give CME accreditation points for attending the EAU Congress. The number of credits granted to the congress by the different National Urological Associations will be listed in the programme book. Information on national accreditation can be as well found by contacting the National Urological Associations.
