Press release: 23rd Annual EAU Congress to be held in Milan, Italy

The 23rd  Annual Congress of the European Association of Urology will be held in Milan, Italy on 26-29 March 2008. This is the second time the EAU organises its Annual Congress in Italy (Genoa, 1992) but a first for Milan, Italy’s second largest city, well known for its cosmopolitan character.
This congress will once more provide a unique opportunity to listen to and share information with world-renowned experts in their fields. Over 10,000 delegates are expected to visit Milan, and although most will come from Europe it will be a gathering of delegates from all over the world. The four meeting days will undoubtedly see debates on all main topics and challenges in the urological domain.

The EAU’s primary mission is to advance urological patient care and an Annual Congress highlighting the latest developments in this specialty will contribute to establishing management, education and research networks. The integration and collaboration of clinicians, research and technological experts is a challenge that the EAU embraces and for a few days Milan will be the centre of the urological world.
